TO DISCOVER: Discovering Ronda, the wonderful city perched on the El Tajo gorge

In the heart of Andalusia, on a scenic gorge stands Ronda. A deep crack known as El Tajo de Ronda, the cut of Ronda, divides it in two, with a 160m sheer drop over the Guadalevin stream. The spectacular Ponte Nuevo connects the two parts of the city. La Ciudad is the ancient Moorish center of Ronda, where its Arab jewels are kept. Over the centuries, many illustrious writers have been fascinated by these incredible places, such as Hamingway and Dumas and it's not hard to see why.
